Hello! My name is Carrington Kernodle Epperson. I am a lover and an artist living in Virginia with my husband and sweet little boy. I express my love through curating experiences for people so they feel nurtured and a sense of belonging wherever they are. I express my creativity mostly through professional food & lifestyle writing, running my vegan bakery Chanterelle Cafe all along with planning events & vacations. I am also a proud graduate of the University of Virginia Class of 2018!

My love for traveling began at a very young age. I remember refusing to sleep when my mother drove my brother and I to the beach because I wanted to see every town we passed. I participated in a student exchange program in high school which allowed me to study abroad in Italy. I’ve visited LA three times just to eat delicious food and meet new people. Nothing beats seeing my son overwhelmed with joy hugging his favorite characters at Disney World. I genuinely believe seeing the world is one of the most fulfilling endeavors and I want more people to be able to do the same.

To me, what makes a travel experience special is the same as what makes home special. A trip should be rooted in one’s values, feel like a personal tradition is being created and allows you to actually enjoy yourself because there’s peace of mind reassured.
